Print Engraving: Crowning of Mary (2006.01.0001)

Black print on tan colored paper. The print has a central female figure with a long wavy hair and a long flowing dress. She is being crowned by two men who are on either side of her. On her left, the man has long hair and a beard and is holding a large globe shaped object and a scepter in his right hand, he is using his other hand to crown the girl. The man on the left of her is standing and using both of his hands to place the crown on her head. His arms and chest are bare but he is wearing a long garment on his lower half. All three figures are on clouds and above them, in the center, is a bird with outstretched wings. At the bottom of the print written in black is “P P Rub delin excud, CVM PRIVILEGIIS. Christoffe Legher S.”

Metal ammunition clip. Two sides with a solid piece connecting them at one end. Each side has a circular hole in the center with two grooves on either side in a rectangular/oval shape. A silvery metallic color. Rounded edges.

Very long arrow with a shaft and spear tip made of wood. There is thin string wrapped around the base of the point. There is also string wrapped around the opposite end of the shaft, some of which is holding the remains of two dark grey feathers to the shaft. This string appears to be coated in a clear, adhesive material.
Note: 1998.19.3341B-D were tied together with string, which was cut by CDQ on 2/7/2006.

Very long arrow with a shaft and spear tip made of wood. There is thin string wrapped around the base of the point. There is also string wrapped around the opposite end of the shaft, some of which is holding the remains of two dark grey feathers to the shaft. This string appears to be coated in a clear, adhesive material.

Very long arrow with a shaft and spear tip made of wood. There is thin sinew, string, or plant material wrapped around the base of the point. More of the same material is wrapped around the opposite end of the shaft, some of which is holding the remains of two dark grey feathers to the shaft. The wrapping appears to be coated in a clear, adhesive material.

Round ceramic plate with plain outside. The inside of the plate is mostly white with six square designs of interwoven lines like baskets in a dark blue color. There are swirling leaf-like patterns coming out of these baskets in a lighter blue color. The inside base of the plate is a brownish tan circle with blue wavy line designs in the very center. Painted white “X” on base.

There are swirling line patterns coming out of these baskets in a lighter blue color. The inside base of the plate is a solid blue line with a solid brownish tan line inside. The very center has a blue circle with a wavy line design.

Rectangular, thin paper bank note. One side has a picture of temple ruins with columns, stairs and a wall. There is a border around the picture that has Arabic text, as well as a human figure in the bottom right corner. There is also Arabic text in the picture by the temple ruins. The other side of the bank note has a picture of a cave with stalactites with a river of water running through the middle. A solid rectangular border with 'Banque du Liban' at the top, 'Une livre' in the bottom left and Arabic text to the bottom right.

Rectangular, thin paper bank note. One side has a picture of a man on the right side. The man has slightly curly hair, a mustache and goatee and a large collar. He is labeled 'Vondel'. There are large number '5's in the top left corner and bottom right. The note is labeled 'De Nederlandsche Bank/Vijf Gulden' and underneath that 'VIJF' in large text, with 'Amsterdam 26 April 1966' and signatures of the Secretary and President. There ar green and blue spiral circles along the bottom. The other side has large number '5's in the top right and bottom left corners and is given the number '3EK078328'. There is a picture of a building with square geometric designs. There is also very small typed text in Dutch on the right side. There are small pin holes in each corner of the note.

Rectangular, thin paper bank note. One side is purple and blue. At the top it reads 'Government of India'. There is a circular seal on the left side with wheat that says 'Rupee 1968'. The right side is a blank white seal. In the center are 13 lines of text. On the bottom left is another line of text and on the right it says 'one rupee'. There are 1s in each of the top corners. The other side is purple, green and yellow. It says 'Government of India' at the top and has a 1 in each top corner. There is a blank white seal on the left and a circular seal on the right that says 'India' and has a picture of three lions on a pedestal. In the center is a number 1, a line of text and the words 'one rupee'. The bank note is labeled M69 and 718789 with a B. The bottom right is signed by J.S. Patel, the Special Secretary from the Ministry of Finance. There are small pin holes in each corner of the note.

Rectangular, thin paper bank note. One side is blue and white with snowflake designs. The words 'Suomen Pankki Viisi Markkaa' are written over the snowflake on the left and 'Finlands Bank Fem Mark' are written on the right one. In the center is a lion insignia. The lion wields a sword and wears a crown with roses around it. There are 5s in each corner. The other side is blue, white and green with diamond shaped designs. There are green pine branches in the center. '5 Suomen Pankki' is written over the leaves. It says 'Viisi Markkaa' on the left and right with the serial number 'E5017766' typed beneath it. There are 5s in each corner. A signature is printed under the pine branches, as is the year 1963. There are small pin holes in the top corners of the note.
Bank Note: Democratic Republic of Vietnam, 50 Dong (2006.01.0007)

Rectangular, thin paper bank note. Purple ink on a white background with other colors at the bottom border. One side says 'Nam Muoi Dong' and has a number 50 in the top right and bottom left corners. The serial number '687565' is also in these corners. There is a design on the right side of a square frame intertwined with flowers and the border is a series of spiralling circular lines. The note is signed twice and is labeled 'K.3. Tong-Kiem-Soat' and 'Giam-doc so phat-hanh' and at the bottom, 'Ngan-hang quoc-giaViet-nam'. The other side has a flower and leaf design with a flower and 50 in the center. Vietnamese writing similar to the front, as well as two lines of Vietnamese text in the bottom left corner. There are small pin holes in the top corners of the note.
Bank Note Fragment: Jamaica, Fifty Cents (2006.01.0008)

Half of a bank note ripped at an angle. One side is mostly pink and yellow with green leaf designs. The text is cut off, but would read 'Jamaica' at the top and 'fifty cents' in the middle. There is a seal with a man wearing a headdress and an orange and white shield. There is a phrase written under the shield, where 'ut of many, one people' remains. There is a governor's signature and '50c' in each corner. The serial number is F839425. The other side has 'Bank of J' and 'Fifty cent' visible, along with 50c in each corner. The picture in the center is partially visible. There is a house with columns and palm trees with a clouded sky. Pin hole in the top corner that isn't ripped.

Small ceramic plate with a flat bottom. The edge of the inside has a blue pattern of lines in an x shape going all the way around with smaller lines and dots in between. The center of the dish has a pattern of blue leaves and plants with a thin blue ring border.
Sash or Belt (2006.03.0001)

Thin red and white striped sash with one side designed in diamond pattern. Both the front and back of this sash have the same pattern. There are three red stripes and two white stripes running the length of the sash. It is hemmed in black stitching. On half of the sash there is a different pattern on one side. There are yellow, green, purple, blue, orange, and white stripes of color that make up layers of a diamond pattern. There is no identifiable order to the color arrangement. Towards the middle of the sash, the diamond pattern ends and it takes up a decreasing triangular pattern. It ends in an orange traiagle, which is then filled in by yellow and green lines. The other end of this pattern also ends in a yellow triangle, filled in by green and purple lines. The ends of the sash decrease in size and end in a red knot with red and white fringe on the ends.

There are two women dressed in red tunics with dark hair. There are two buildings visible behind the street scene: one with a thatched roof on the left and one with a tiled roof on the right.
