Large brown bulbous pot. The neck is short and the walls of the pot as seen from the opening at the top are thick. Various details around the middle portion of the pot. The details are raised from the textured surface of the pot. There is a band around the neck of the pot. Beneath the band there are various raised circles, lines that form a three tiered design, and wavy lines attached to circles. The pot narrows at the bottom similar to the narrowing towards the neck. Two stapled pieces of paper where found within the pot. They have two black and white pictures of the pot with text that reads, ‘Ali Konate Bamana, 8/2/02.’ The back of one of the sheets of paper reads in blue ink, "Bamana from Bougoula, Chief of Village-'Died 20 yrs ago house closed up then', Ali Konate bought 2 of them. Broke one in transit back to Bobo. Pair were Chief's ceremonial pots." There is also a map hand drawn in blue ink that contains distances in km, and the locations, 'Bougoula, Baragela?, Segou, Konobougo, and Bamako.'

Round, doughnut shaped cream stone pendant. Slightly irregular in the composition of the surface with various veins of gray or brown running through the stone.

Three dark brown various shaped seed pods strung together on a braided tan rope. Two of the pods are square and the middle one is round. Inside of the pods there are several unidentifiable (seeds?) objects. Each pod is composed of a top and a bottom sewn together at certain points with a leather strap. The pods are attached to one another by a woven rope that creates ‘X’ on the top of each one. There are holes created in the pod for which to string the rope through. The rope continues with two stands at one end of the overall rattle.

Small dark brown bronze metal figure. The figure has two protrusions on the top of the head for ears or hair and large round eyes and mouth, and its hands are clasped at waist level. The figure wears a wide triangular skirt with a pattern of dots on the front and a pattern of horizontal lines on the back.

Piece of triangular beadwork with brown ties from the top two corners. Beadwork has a horizontal white stripe across the top with vertical stripes of green and red beads below. Larger red, white, and blue beads dangle from the sides.

Piece of triangular beadwork with brown ties from the top two corners. Beadwork is a pattern of dark blue, orange, yellow, white, and light blue vertical stripes with dark blue beads and long brown fringe along two sides.

Large ceramic pot, with a long neck. The body of the pot is spherical and the neck is cylindrical. The pot has a red glaze, with some black areas. At the interface of the neck and body there is a notched ring, with small lines spiraling outwards. The base of the pot is rounded. There is some residue attached to the bottom of the inside. The lower half of the body's glaze is faded. Along the top of the faded area there is a gray band. There are several accretions on the surface of the pot, mostly in crevices mades by incised marks on the pot.

The piece is a large carved wooden bowl. The outside of the bowl is decorated with an incised bas relief pattern of light and dark. The pattern consists of 5 horizontal bands that run across the bowl. The rim and bottom of the bowl are dark. The bands consist of incised rings with a thicker dark ring that has a zigzag line incised into it. The third band has alternating dark geometric patterns seperated by light areas. One shape is diamond like with the corners of the short axis cut off. The other geometric shape is an inverse of the first, so it has concave ends. At the bottom, attached to the last band, there are 4 triangles pointing towards the bottom. The triangles hae light and dark bands within them. There are several repairs to the bowl made with zigzagging wire. There is a large repair made with large gold-colored metal pieces at the mouth of the bowl.

Vertical rows of red and green as well as white and blue are towards each end. There is a red strip and towards the top of the band. The beadwork has brown fringe along the bottom with various cream colored beads as well as a cowrie shell attached.

Dark brown pot with slight metallic sheen towards the bottom. The opening is round and has a flat rim. Around the top section of the pot there is various raised details including lines, bumps and other abstract designs. The inside of the pot is dark brown.

Dark brown bell-shaped ceramic pot. The pot has a lip that flares outwards. There is an incised design extending down from the mouth to the widest point of the pot. The design is mostly made of horizontal lines, with many upside-down v's and angled lines. There is a band of arches that goes around the pot and underneath that there is a layer of upside-down v's.
