A tall, dark brown basket with an oval mouth. The basket tapers toward its square-like base, which is supported by four small wooden stands protruding from each corner. A thick woven strap is attached to the body by long brownish orange rope pulled through loops on the side near the mouth and on the back near the base.

A brown woven basket set atop a rectangular wooden stand. A piece of bamboo circles and reinforces the mouth of the piece. A carved floral pattern adorns the sides of the base and is painted red. A rope emerges out of the sides of the base, runs up the side of the basket, and is pulled through loops on either side.

A brown woven basket lid topped with the carved image of an animal, painted red. The animal's mouth is open, showing its teeth and its tail sticks out, curled behind the creature. The rope from the main body of the basket is pulled through holes on either end of the wooden adornment.

A short woven table. The base consists a long strip of wood, bent with the ends lashed together to form a circle. A long shaft of sinuous plant material is lashed to the top of the circular base and the bottom of the table. The interior of the table is recessed leaving a tall, flared lip around the exterior.

A hardback text with an orange cover and navy blue spine. The cover is worn heavily in the corners and worn and torn at the top and bottom edges of the spine. The title of the text and the author's last name, bordered in a floral pattern, are faintly stamped into the top of the spine and are barely visible. The interior of both the front and back cover are adorned with an ornate blue pattern printed on white paper. The book contains 312 marked pages. Though somewhat worn along the extreme edges, the pages are in fairly good condition. The faint remanents of written text blends with the blue printed background and is barely visible on the front face of the first page. A signature and "N. Y. Oct. 1933" is written on the reverse of the first page. Both are written in blue ink.

A light brown wooden scabbard. A floral pattern adorns each side of the scabbard. The bottom of the scabbard curls slightly and is notched on the interior of the curl. The top of the scabbard curls opposite the base and is adorned with small triangular notches along the top.

A thin lid, lacquered in black around the center and bordered with two yellow bands. The concentric circles of basketry are visible on the top of the lid, which is slightly recessed, forming a lip along the outer edge.

A kris with a sinuous blade and an ornately carved wooden handle. The blade expands outward to a point at the base. The handle curves at a rounded right angle near the center and is covered in ornately incised metal at the top.

A small text bound with a vinyl cover. On the front cover a small seal, printed in gold and depicting a an open book surrounded by text, appears in the lower right-hand corner, while "ALKITAB" appears in gold at the top. Gold lettering appears at the top and bottom of the spine. Red and blue textile book markers are pulled through the text and dangle from the bottom. The text is printed in black ink on thin, white, somewhat transparent paper. Black tabs with gold lettering line the outer edge of the text.

A small, hardback text with a navy blue cover. The title, Padan Na Baru, appears in gold lettering at the top of the front cover and at the top of the spine. The book contains 584 marked pages. When closed, the exterior edges of the pages are adorned in a speckled blue gray pattern. The front face of the first interior page is stamped with three separate purple seals. "New Testament in the Simehugun(?) Batak language of Simehugun(?), on East-Coast of Sumatra. Obtained February 18, 1956 in Pematang(?) Siantar(?)." appears in faded black ink on the back face of the last interior page.
