Saucer (1948.05.0007A)

A white painted saucer with floral decorations. There are four multicolored floral clusters on the top of the saucer. The saucers has gold gilded edges. The bottom of the saucer has a blue design with letters "L" and "V" one above the other. There is a small round hole in the saucer's base.

Teacup (1948.05.0007B)
9.5 x 6.3 x .3 cm (121 g)
A white teacup with intricately painted floral designs. There are four multicolored floral clusters on around the teacup. There is gold leaf around the rim of the cup, the edges of the handle, and around the base. There is a small chip on the rim near the handle and there are many scratches on the handle as well. The largest floral decoration is a pink rose with a pair of purple flowered stems. There are two blue flowers behind the rose and several leaves too. The second largest design is made up of a large yellow flower with red tips. There is also a pink flower with a yellow center with a branch of blue flowers hanging. The third largest design is a pink flower and two red flowers with white centers. There is a branch with three purple flowers behind the red flower. The fourth largest design is a red and purple flower with a branch containing several leaves and two small red flowers. On the bottom of the cup is a red sticker that reads "MEC 1102" and there are blue squiggles next to it.
