Scholarly Notes 1/17/2006: "One Bull and his brother when they were 16 or 17 years old when Sitting Bull gave them clubs to battle at the Custer battle. This war record was made by One Bull. There are multiple copies. This was made specifically for the Laubins. It is One Bull's eye witness account. One Bull made it." - Clyde Hall, Shoshone-Bannock tribe, Friend of the Laubins, 1/17/2006 10/27/2004: On Laubin VHS Tape 25 at time counter 11:25. The information below is what Reginald Laubin said about the artifact. "Item #340 – One Bull’s War Record - 1996.24.0509 - One Bull made this for Reginald - Reginald gave the sheepskin to One Bull to make it on - Shows the Custer – Reno fight - Magli (One Bull’s daughter) did the writing on it - Shows 5 camps - Reginald says Indian words (tribe names?) - One Bull made another one of these on canvas that is in the Bismark Museum in ND (not anymore) - Reginald shows on the war record the last horse, the last living thing on the battlefield that was the army’s before the reinforcements came.
