Scholarly Notes 1/20/2006: "Small metal figure, guy wearing a horizontal mask. No costume indicated. Different style of figures made shaped from wax. This one has thin arms and legs which they have stopped doing. Also modern ones are highly polished. They did not even fully remove the mold on this one. Probably made for tourists. " - Mahir Saul, Anthropology Professor, UIUC, 1/20/2006 This bush spirit figure, it looks like a human in masquerade performance. - N. Hawkes 10/22/98.
