Looking for fun, educational experiences for your kids this summer? Join our Education team for three great programs at the Spurlock Museum!
Wrapped Up in Ancient Egypt
June 6, 1-4pm
Learn all about ancient Egyptian mummification and burial as you move among hands-on stations throughout the Museum. Feel and smell real mummification materials, volunteer to get "mummified" by our staff, and create your own Egyptian tomb. This program is for children 8 to 13 accompanied by a responsible adult. Admission is $3, and pre-registration is required.

Castles, Catapults, and Coats of Arms
June 23, 9am-3pm
Ever dreamed of being a knight or lady and living in a castle? Want to build a catapult to defend your fortress or a ship to carry your spoils of war? Enjoy three days of hands-on activities based on the technology of Medieval Europe. This day camp is for children entering grades 3 to 7 in fall 2010. Registration is $75, and pre-registration is required.

It's All Greek to Me
July 10, 1-4pm
This program is for kids who love learning about Greek gods and heroes, daily life, and ancient sports. Wear Greek-style clothes, hear stories of strength, power, love, and friendship, and test your knowledge of the Olympic Games. This program is for children 9 to 14. Admission is $3, and pre-registration is required.
