Looking for something to do on a Sunday afternoon?
Now
you can
add “Visit the Spurlock Museum” to your leisure-time activity
list.
Since Sunday, September 25, 2005, the Museum has been open
on Sunday
afternoons from 12 to 4.
These added hours come in response to frequent requests from
out-of-town visitors, Museum friends, and University of
Illinois
students. We thank these groups for their comments and suggestions and thank the
University and our Friends for the financial support that made the new
hours possible.
Have you been putting off your visit due to worries about
parking?
Remember that University lot D-22, located on the south side
of the
building off of Oregon Street, is open for free parking in the
evening
and on weekends. Now there’s a second reason to come by on
Sundays!
Special
holiday hours reminder: The Museum will be open the Saturday and Sunday
after Thanksgiving, so bring the family to “explore the world.” The
Museum will be closed December 24th through January 2nd for the winter
break holiday. |
