Through a generous gift from Janet K. Bair, three elegantly embroidered Chinese silk pieces of clothing join the Spurlock Museum's growing textile collection. Made to be worn by wealthy individuals or members of court, they may date to the end of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).
