A gift from Ellen Schultz Cole

 

 


A new donation of six Pueblo pots from various well-known Pueblo pottery centers was recently added to the Spurlock Museum's Native American collection. This gift comes from the estate of University of Illinois alumnus Ellen Schultz Cole.
 

Signed by Lela/Luther, this pot comes from Santa Clara.

Signed by Marie Z. Chino(1907-1982). This Pueblo artist was known for using ancient designs from historic pottery shards and reviving Acoma-style pottery.
