Envelope Bag and Runner
An envelope bag from the Bontoc Culture of the Philippines (an older piece typical in the Northern Philippines) and a runner from the Ifugao Culture of Ifugao Province. 2005.07.0014 and 2005.07.0001

Gloria Fenner has donated a collection of Philippine textiles and baskets, collected by Dr. William A. Longacre, an anthropologist with fieldwork and expertise in the Philippines. This collection include skirts, belts and sashes, purses, blankets, a sarong, and a loincloth. Gloria Fenner and Dr. William A. Longacre are both graduates of the University of Illinois.

A skirt from the Bontoc Culture of Kalinga-Apayao Province in the Philippines. 2005.07.0005
Belt and Sarong
A belt from the island of Mindanao, Southern Philippines and a sarong from Tawi-tawi, an island province of the Philippines. Notable because of the silver threads. 2005.07.0007 and 2005.07.0008
